On August 24, MTBE production companies in Shandong region raised their offers: Shandong Chengtai New Materials and Lihuayi Lijin Petrochemical raised MTBE offers to 7,150 yuan/ton. Shida Shenghua raised MTBE offer by 20 yuan/ton to 7,200 yuan/ton.

【Diethylene glycol】

On the afternoon of August 24, high prices in the East China ethylene glycol market were relatively scarce. With spot supplies rarely available, most quotations were for next-month bills. Spot offers (import/domestic/next-month bills) were at 12,500-12,700-13,000 yuan/ton, while bids were at 12,000-12,300 yuan/ton.

On August 24, Sinopec East China raised its offer prices for diethylene glycol. Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical increased the price by 1,300 yuan/ton, with the latest execution price at 11,500 yuan/ton, operating at low load. Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical and BASF-YPC raised prices by 1,250 yuan/ton, with the latest execution price at 11,600 yuan/ton; the BASF-YPC 340,000 tons/year unit is operating at approximately 40% capacity.

【DBP】

On August 24, Kaifeng City Jiuhong Chemical Co., Ltd.'s total annual production capacity for DBP and DIBP is 240,000 tons, and equipment operations are normal. The quoted price for DOTP is 9,650 yuan/ton, an increase of 100 yuan/ton. Downstream customers' purchasing enthusiasm is average, and actual transaction prices are mainly determined through negotiation.
