On September 22nd, the price of phenol from Zhejiang Petrochemical was cut by 200 yuan, implemented at 9200 yuan/ton for pickup at Jiangyin warehouse. Both the 650,000-ton/year phenol-acetone plant in Phase I and the 650,000-ton/year phenol-acetone plant in Phase II are operating normally, with moderate inventory, and the shipments are mainly for contracted phenol users for external sales besides self-use.
