On September 3, the starting price for Inner Mongolia ENN Group's methanol auction was 3020 yuan per ton, with a total volume of 2500 tons. Eventually, 400 tons were traded at this price, while the rest were unsold. In addition, the first-phase 600,000 tons/year methanol project is preliminarily scheduled to shut down for maintenance on September 4, with an expected duration of 20 days. At present, the second-phase 600,000 tons/year methanol project remains shut down.

On September 3, the starting bid price of methanol from Inner Mongolia Rongxin was 3,040 yuan per ton, with a quantity of 3,000 tons, and all lots were unsold. In addition, the company's 900,000 tons/year methanol project in Phase I is scheduled to shut down for maintenance on September 5, which will last for 25 days; the 900,000 tons/year methanol project in Phase II will operate normally during this period.

On September 3rd, the methanol auction situation of Yankuang Group: The starting price of Yulin Yankuang methanol was 3,030 yuan per ton, with a quantity of 4,000 tons, and all lots were unsold. The first-phase 600,000 tons/year methanol plant and the second-phase 800,000 tons/year methanol project are operating smoothly. Yankuang Guohong's methanol bidding sales finally settled at 3,300 yuan per ton for ex-factory cash exchange, but the lots were unsold, and the 640,000 tons/year coal-to-methanol plant is operating with two furnaces.

September 2 methanol outer market closing price fluctuations: CFR Southeast Asia methanol market closed at 544.5-545.5 USD/ton, up 5 USD/ton. FOB US Gulf methanol market closed at 133-135 cents/gallon, down 1 cent/gallon; European FOB Rotterdam methanol market closed at 399-401 EUR/ton.
