On Tuesday, March 10, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated that U.S. crude oil exports in 2025 are expected to decline by 3% compared to 2024, marking the first annual decrease since 2021. According to EIA data, last year's U.S. crude oil exports reached 4 million barrels per day, which is 85 times the level in 2011 but slightly lower than the figures for 2023 and 2024.08:59

The 2027 production forecast was also increased to 13.83 million barrels per day, compared to the earlier projection of 13.32 million barrels per day.08:58
