【Cotton Lint】
According to customs statistics, the export volume of cotton products (including cotton-blended products, not just pure cotton products) in September 2026 reached 703,900 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 16.91% and a month-on-month increase of 2.21%. From January to September 2026, the export volume of cotton products was 5.8834 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 6.27%.11:22

Data from the National Energy Administration shows that in September, the total electricity consumption of the whole society reached 899.7 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. In terms of electricity consumption by industry, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 13.5 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 580 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%; the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 185.2 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%; and the electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 121 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 6.0%.11:16

In terms of electricity consumption by industry, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 118.2 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. The electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 5.1098 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%. The electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 1.6109 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%. The electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 123.46 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%.11:15

The FOB US Gulf methanol market closed at 158 - 160 cents per gallon, down 1 cent per gallon; the European FOB Rotterdam methanol market closed at €502.5 - €503.5 per ton.
