On August 19, 2026, Rizhao Steel issued prices for cold-formed and galvanized steel coils in the Lecong market: 1. Cold-formed: RECC 1.0*1250mm 3770.5 yuan/ton, an increase of 20 yuan/ton from the previous period; 2. Galvanized steel coil: DX51D+Z 1.0*1250/1500mm 3970.5 yuan/ton, an increase of 20 yuan/ton from the previous period. Note: The above prices are tax-inclusive and delivered to the Lecong warehouse.

On Tuesday, international crude oil market closing prices rose. On August 19, refined oil prices at independent refineries in Northeast China trended higher. The overall price of 92# gasoline was 8,600-8,700 yuan/ton, the price range for 95# gasoline was 8,700-8,800 yuan/ton, and the quoted price range for diesel was 7,600-7,700 yuan/ton.

According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on August 18, 2026, the Korea Trade Commission issued a public announcement stating that, upon application by Korean producer Korea Alcohol Industrial, it has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into ethyl acetate originating from China. The dumping investigation period for this case is from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025. The Korean tariff number for the product involved is 2915.31.0000. Unless further extended (for a maximum of two months), a preliminary ruling is expected to be made within three months from the date of initiation.
