【Methanol】
On April 16, the starting price for Inner Mongolia Xin'ao methanol was 2,630 yuan/ton, with a total volume of 5,000 tons; all was sold at a final price of 2,650 yuan/ton. The plant's Phase I 600,000 tons/year and Phase II 600,000 tons/year methanol units are operating normally.11:12
【Xylene】
The mainstream spot price range for xylene in the East China market is 7,370-7,450 yuan/ton, an increase of 100 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. The aromatics arbitrage window remains open, and the spreads between PX and mixed xylene, as well as between pure benzene and toluene, remain wide, providing significant support for prices. Dragged down by the continuous decline in crude oil, trading sentiment in the market was relatively subdued, with downstream purchasing remaining generally cautious. In the previous trading session, the trends for toluene and xylene diverged, with toluene seeing a slight decline while xylene edged up. In the short term, supply, demand, and cost factors are mutually constraining, and it is expected that both markets will continue to consolidate within a narrow range.11:09

Dragged down by the continuous decline in crude oil, trading sentiment in the market was subdued, with downstream purchasing remaining generally cautious.
