On February 6, it was reported that Beijing officially released the "Implementation Plan for Beijing's 2026 Automobile Trade-In Subsidy Program," which will soon initiate two types of subsidies: "scrap-and-replace" and "trade-in replacement." The application system will open at 10:00 AM on February 9. Eligible car buyers can receive subsidies of up to 20,000 yuan. Among these, "scrap-and-replace" refers to scrapping an old vehicle and purchasing a new one. Consumers who purchase new energy passenger vehicles can receive a subsidy of 12% of the new vehicle's sales price, with a maximum subsidy of 20,000 yuan. For those purchasing fuel-powered passenger vehicles with an engine displacement of 2.0 liters or less, the subsidy is 10% of the new vehicle's sales price, with a maximum subsidy of 15,000 yuan.02-25 17:35

In 2026, a one-time subsidy will be provided to individual consumers who sell passenger vehicles registered under their names and purchase new energy passenger vehicles included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s "Catalog of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempt from Vehicle Purchase Tax" or fuel-powered passenger vehicles with an engine displacement of 2.0 liters or below. For the purchase of eligible new energy passenger vehicles, a subsidy of 8% of the new vehicle’s sales price will be provided, with a maximum subsidy amount of 15,000 yuan. For the purchase of eligible fuel-powered passenger vehicles, a subsidy of 6% of the new vehicle’s sales price will be provided, with a maximum subsidy amount of 13,000 yuan.02-25 17:33
