The mainstream spot quotation range for xylene in East China is 8,450-8,500 yuan per ton, a decrease from the previous trading day. On the previous trading day, the declines of toluene and xylene in China expanded, and they continued to weaken during the day. Overnight, crude oil plummeted, putting pressure on the entire aromatic hydrocarbon sector, and tight spot supply has been unable to provide support. The market is dominated by wait-and-see sentiment, with light trading. It is expected that the toluene and xylene markets will operate weakly in the short term.
