The mainstream spot price range of toluene market in East China is 8350-8400 yuan per ton, up 300 yuan per ton compared with the previous trading day. Toluene and xylene rose sharply on the previous trading day, and the market continued to support prices intraday. Rising crude oil has driven the bullish sentiment in the spot market, domestic spot supply is tight, and merchants' quotations are firm. However, downstream purchasers only purchase on rigid demand, with insufficient willingness to chase higher prices, and the short-term spot market will show a volatile trend at high levels.
