On June 15, the ex-factory price of acetic acid in the Zhejiang region was around 2,975 yuan/ton, an increase of 50 yuan/ton. The operating rate of acetic acid plants decreased, while downstream demand followed as needed. Market transactions were dominated by negotiations, and the acetic acid market trend continued to be relatively strong.17:30
【Steel】
The American Iron and Steel Institute recently released a report stating that the United States imported 1.874 million short tons of steel in April 2026, including 1.378 million short tons of finished steel, representing increases of 5.9% and 5.5%, respectively, compared to March. From January to April 2026, the total U.S. steel imports amounted to 6.972 million short tons, a decrease of 29.5% from the previous period; finished steel imports were 5.118 million short tons, a decline of 30.5%. The market share of imported finished steel in the U.S. was estimated at 16% in April and 15% for the first four months of 2026.17:28
