On August 31, the quotation of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite (96.5% content) in Hebei was 4100 yuan per ton, with an increase of 20 yuan per ton. Affected by the substantial rise in upstream raw material costs, the price of sodium metabisulfite is likely to rise rather than fall in the short term.
