Foreign media reported on September 3: Data from the International Copper Study Group (ICSG) shows that global copper mine production fell by 1.1% in the first half of the year. The production of both Codelco and Freeport-McMoRan recorded double-digit declines. Morgan Stanley originally expected copper supply to grow at the beginning of the year, but now forecasts that production will be basically flat or slightly down, meaning global copper mine production may see its first annual decline since 2017.
