【Non-ferrous metals】
According to the latest statistics from the China Gold Association, in the first three quarters of 2026, the cumulative domestic gold production from raw materials reached 220.935 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 18.71%; the cumulative gold production from imported raw materials reached 127.055 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.87%. The total gold production from domestic and imported raw materials amounted to 347.990 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.44%.11:02
【Steel Billet】
On November 3, prices in China's domestic steel market continued their downward trend. The ex-factory price of ordinary billets in Qian'an, Tangshan (including tax) was reduced by 20 yuan to 2,850 yuan per ton. At the opening of the morning session, rebar futures fluctuated downward, with spot quotations in most domestic cities remaining weak and stable, and a few cities seeing slight follow-up declines. In terms of transactions, market transactions were light in the morning. In the afternoon, the futures market hit a new low, further suppressing spot market sentiment. Terminal demand became increasingly weak, and transaction prices moved closer to lower levels. The full-day transaction volume was lower than that of the previous trading day.11:02

This week's global steel arrival volume at ports stood at 6.6966 million tons, an increase of 1.0233 million tons from the previous week, with a week-on-week rise of 18.04% and a year-on-year increase of 11.43%. Global steel trade flows have rebounded strongly, and the year-on-year change has shifted from a decrease to an increase.11:00

The Federal Committee on Agriculture (FCA) of Pakistan expects Pakistan's cotton planting area to be 1.759 million hectares, which is 18.6% lower than the target area of 2.16 million hectares. The total output is expected to be 1.041 million tons, which is about 30.4% lower than the total output target of 1.495 million tons.10:43
