Recently, the Guangju New Materials (Guangxin Polymer) project with a total investment of 3.469 billion yuan, featuring an annual capacity of 280,000 tons of PA6 chips and 125,000 tons of BOPA nylon film, officially commenced in the Yueyang Green Chemical High-tech Zone. As a key industrial project in Hunan Province, it is a joint venture between Fosu Tech and Sinopec Hunan Petrochemical. With a construction period of 38 months, the project leverages the park's direct caprolactam pipeline supply to establish an integrated closed-loop chain from caprolactam to PA6 chips to biaxially oriented nylon film. The products primarily target high-barrier packaging for high-end food, pharmaceuticals, and daily chemicals. This will significantly expand the film-grade nylon production capacity in Central China, ensure long-term substantial consumption of caprolactam feedstock, and benefit the stability of the supply and demand structure in the PA6 industry chain.13:57

Radici Group has recently officially informed the trade unions of its restructuring plan for the Novara production base in northern Italy. Operated by its subsidiary Radici Chimica, the site is a core hub for the Group's vertically integrated PA66 full industrial chain, with PA66 products serving as the key raw material support for the company's modified plastics business.
The restructuring plan involves the shutdown of three key chemical units at the plant: adipic acid, nitric acid, and MAB. These units are essential intermediate production lines for PA66 manufacturing. The plant currently employs nearly 300 people, and this capacity adjustment will directly impact 140 jobs.
The Group stated that the Novara factory has incurred substantial losses for three consecutive years. The operational pressure stems from multiple external and industry factors: fierce market competition brought by low-cost capacity in Asia's nylon industry chain; persistently high energy and raw material prices in Europe; and sustained weak demand in the three major downstream terminal sectors—automotive, textile, and construction—resulting in structural sluggishness.
Following a comprehensive assessment, the adipic acid production line at the plant is no longer viable for returning to profitability. Consequently, the Group has decided to shut down inefficient facilities and concentrate resources to coordinate the remaining business operations at the site and the redeployment of employees.13:48
【MTBE】
On July 28, MTBE production companies in Shandong region lowered their offers: Shandong Chengtai New Materials, Lihuayi Lijin Petrochemical, and Shida Shenghua lowered their MTBE offers by 150 yuan/ton to 6,850 yuan/ton. Dongming Qianhai Chemical offered MTBE at 7,000 yuan/ton via auction.13:41
