According to the statistics of major excavator manufacturing enterprises by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 22,717 excavators of various types were sold in September 2026, with a year-on-year increase of 14.4%. Of this total, 9,911 units were sold domestically (including 218 electric excavators), representing a year-on-year growth of 7.16%; exports reached 12,806 units (including 65 electric excavators), with a year-on-year increase of 20.7%. From January to September 2026, a total of 214,274 excavators were sold, with a year-on-year increase of 23.1%. Of this total, 104,530 units were sold domestically (including 629 electric excavators), representing a year-on-year growth of 16.3%; exports reached 109,744 units (including 322 electric excavators), with a year-on-year increase of 30.4%.
