On May 28, MTBE production companies in Shandong region lowered their offers: Shandong Chengtai New Materials and Lihuayi Lijin Petrochemical lowered their MTBE offers by 50 yuan/ton to 6,450 yuan/ton. Dongming Qianhai Chemical lowered its MTBE offer by 150 yuan/ton to 6,250 yuan/ton, via auction.12:34

On May 27, MTBE offshore market closing prices declined: Coinciding with Hari Raya Aidiladha, the Asian MTBE market was closed. The European MTBE market closing price decreased by $61.75/ton from the previous trading day, with FOB ARA settling at $1031.49-1031.99/ton. The US MTBE market closing price decreased by $28.26/ton from the previous trading day, with FOB Gulf settling at $1094.54-1094.89/ton (309.05-309.15 cents/gallon).12:31

On May 27, methanol external market closing prices declined: The CFR Southeast Asia methanol market was closed due to a public holiday. The FOB US Gulf methanol market closed at 158-160 US cents/gallon; the European FOB Rotterdam methanol market closed at 460-462 euros/ton, down 24 euros/ton.12:23
【Non-ferrous metals】
On May 28, domestic light rare earth market prices showed a downward trend. The price of Praseodymium-Neodymium metal fell by 15,000 yuan/ton to 835,000 yuan/ton, Praseodymium-Neodymium oxide fell by 15,000 yuan/ton to 680,000 yuan/ton, and Neodymium oxide fell by 7,500 yuan/ton to 787,500 yuan/ton. The price of Neodymium metal was 942,500 yuan/ton, Praseodymium metal was 935,000 yuan/ton, and Praseodymium oxide fell by 5,000 yuan/ton to 772,500 yuan/ton. Domestic light rare earth prices trended downward, with normal market turnover and average downstream procurement. Prices are expected to mainly fluctuate in the later period.11:56
