On December 15, the commodity price index (BPI) was 1019, unchanged from yesterday, down 24.13% from the highest point of 1,343 (2021-10-19) in the cycle, and up 54.39% from the lowest point of 660 on February 3, 2016. (Note: the cycle refers to the period from December 1, 2011 to the present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on December 15, 2022, there were 55 kinds of commodities that rose on a month on month basis in the list of commodity price rises and falls, concentrated in the chemical sector (23 kinds in total) and the nonferrous metal sector (8 kinds in total). The top three commodities that rose were sulfuric acid (3.30%), WTI crude oil (2.51%) and Brent crude oil (2.50%). A total of 38 commodities declined month on month, mainly in chemical industry (13 in total) and agricultural and sideline products (9 in total). The top three commodities declined were LNG (-3.09%), soybean meal (-2.42%) and live pigs (-1.84%). The daily average rise and fall is 0.08%.
