SunSirs: China's Average Daily Crude Oil Processing Volume Rose to a One-year High in November, 2022
December 16 2022 14:16:20SunSirs(Selena)

On December 15, foreign power reported that data released on Thursday showed that China's daily average crude oil processing volume rose to a one-year high in November, and refineries produced more fuel for export.

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, the crude oil processing volume in November was 59.61 million tons, equivalent to 14.505 million barrels per day, slightly lower than the record high of 14.512 million barrels per day in the same period last year.

The record high level of average daily crude oil processing volume was 14.8 million barrels recorded in June 2021.

From January to November, the crude oil processing volume was 615.99 million tons, equivalent to 1,346 barrels per day, 4% lower than the same period last year, because the first eight months of this year recorded a year-on-year decline.

In pursuit of export profits, state-owned refineries began to accelerate production, especially diesel production.

In November, the export of refined oil (including diesel, gasoline, aviation fuel and fuel oil) hit the highest monthly level since June 2021.

According to the statistics bureau, the natural gas output in November was 18.9 billion cubic meters, up 8.6% year on year, reaching an eight month high. Large state-owned oil enterprises increased production to meet the heating demand in winter.

From January to November, the natural gas output was 19.4 billion cubic meters, up 6.4% year on year.

The crude oil output in November was 16.78 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 2.9%, equivalent to 4.08 million barrels/day, higher than the strategic guaranteed supply level of 4 million barrels/day.

From January to November, the crude oil output was 187.77 million tons, up 3.0% year on year, equivalent to 4.1 million barrels/day.
