Analysis review

This week (12.30-1.6), the operating rate of the methane chloride industry increased: the 160,000 t/a methane chloride plant in Liwen, Jiangxi Province, was upgraded to full load operation; The 400,000 t/a methane chloride unit of Ningbo Juhua was upgraded to 70% of the load.

This week (12.30-1.6), the spot market of methanol rose first and then fell slightly, with little change in the cost of dichloromethane. According to SunSirs, as of January 6, the spot price of methanol was 2,668 RMB/ton, up 0.31% from the price of 2,660 RMB/ton on last Friday; The high point in the cycle was 2,708 RMB/ton.

Although the demand for refrigerant R32, R22 and R410A was weak, some enterprises were stocking up a small amount near the end of the year; The demand of film and thinner industries was weak, and the transaction of dichloromethane market was generally flat.
