According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, as of January 6, the DOP price was 9,850 RMB/ton, up 1.03% from 9,750 RMB/ton on January 1. The price of raw materials rose, and the DOP market rose in shock.

The price of raw material 2-EH fell first and then rose

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, as of January 6, the price of 2-EH was 9,566.67 RMB/ton, down 1.71% from the price of 9,733.33 RMB/ton on January 1. The price of 2-EH fell first and then rose. The cost of DOP raw materials was adjusted by shocks, and the downward pressure on DOP was weakened.

The price of raw material PA fell slightly

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, as of January 6, the quotation of PA by o-xylene method was 8,050 RMB/ton, down 0.16% from the price of 8,062.50 RMB/ton on January 1. The price of o-xylene was temporarily stable, the supply of PA was stable, the price decline of PA from o-xylene process was slowing down, and the cost of DOP was stabilizing.

Market outlook

According to the DOP data analysts of SunSirs, after the festival, the price of raw material 2-EH stopped falling and rose, the price of PA fell slightly, the cost of DOP stopped falling and rose, the downward pressure on DOP weakened, and the upward momentum increased. The cost of DOP was consolidated and the demand warmed up. It is expected that the DOP price will be strongly stabilized in the future.
