Price trend

According to the statistics of SunSirs, seamless tubes rose slightly this week. By the end of the week, the price of 20 # and 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was 5,010 RMB/ton, up 0.25% from the beginning of the week and down 13.62% year on year.

Analysis review

This week, the national inventory was decreased by 19,000 tons to 643,000 tons. The operating rate of seamless tube plants nationwide was 48.75%, with a decrease of 1.53% weekly.

In view of the early Spring Festival this year, the tube factory will have the initiative to limit production in January, and the supply of tube factory will decline to a certain extent in January. With the winter storage, there is room for further digestion of the inventory of the tube factory. The demand for seamless tubes will drop rapidly, and the market transactions may show a trend of shock and weakening.

This week, the seamless tube market had completed replenishment and entered the holiday stage. Therefore, the seamless tube price would be in a state of price without market before the holiday.

With the release of demand after the Spring Festival, the seamless tube price will have room to continue to rise.
