According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the average ex-factory price of LDPE (2426H) was 8,950 RMB/ton on January 19 and 9,150 RMB/ton on January 29, with an increase of 2.23% during the period, 0.55% higher than that on January 1.

In terms of supply, there were devices put into operation at the end of January and the beginning of February, and the pressure of product supply increased. In terms of terminal demand, downstream factories have not yet resumed work, and market transactions are limited. As downstream enterprises gradually resume work, market demand may increase. The production of new polyethylene production capacity will be concentrated in the first quarter of 2023, and it is expected that the growth space of polyethylene will be limited.
