On January 31, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) released a monthly report on Tuesday, showing that the US crude oil and refined oil demand increased by 178000 barrels per day to 20.59 million barrels per day in November 2022, the highest level since August.
According to the EIA report, the demand for finished motor gasoline increased by 21000 barrels per day to 8.85 million barrels per day in November 2022.
The report also showed that the crude oil production of the oil fields in the United States fell to 12.38 million barrels per day in November, lower than the 31 month high of 12.41 million barrels per day hit in October.
Among the large producing states, Texas crude oil production fell 0.4% in November to 5.21 million barrels per day, the lowest level since August.
In North Dakota, crude oil production fell by 0.4% to 1.1 million barrels per day in November, which also fell to the lowest level since August.
In New Mexico, crude oil production fell to 1.723 million barrels per day in November, after hitting a record high of 1.724 million barrels per day in October.
According to EIA's monthly 914 production report, the total natural gas production of 48 states in the United States increased by 200 million cubic feet per day in November, reaching a record of 112.2 billion cubic feet per day.
This exceeded the previous record of 112 billion cubic feet per day set in October.
Among the large natural gas producing states, Texas production fell 0.3% to 31.8 billion cubic feet per day in November, and Pennsylvania production fell 0.6% to 20.2 billion cubic feet per day.
Prior to that, Texas natural gas production reached a record high of 31.9 billion cubic feet per day in October, and Pennsylvania reached a record high of 21.8 billion cubic feet per day in December 2021.
