Analysis review
In January, Dongying Huatai 160,000 t/a methane chloride unit was upgraded to 70% load operation; Guangxi Jinyi 300,000 t/a methane chloride unit was upgraded to full load operation.
In January, the price of raw material methanol rose slightly, while the cost of dichloromethane rose slightly. According to SunSirs, as of January 30, the spot price of methanol was 2,768 RMB/ton, up 2.61% from the price of 2,698 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.

Market outlook
According to the methane chloride data analyst of SunSirs, the cost of dichloromethane is currently rising, the demand side needs to be restored, and the supply side pressure is still on. It is expected that the market of dichloromethane will fluctuate in a narrow range in the short term; With the end of the Spring Festival holiday and the resumption of downstream construction, dichloromethane may have an upward trend in the later stage.
