1. Urea prices fluctuate by 13.44% in 2019

According to the data of SunSirs, the ex-factory price of urea in Shandong declined in 2019. As of December 23, the average quoted factory price of urea mainstream manufacturers was 1,690.00 RMB/ton, compared with the 1,952.50 RMB/ton quoted at the beginning of the year, the quotation fell by 262.50 RMB/ton, a 13.44% decrease.

2. Urea price rose 4.99% in first quarter

In the first quarter of 2019, the urea market fell first and then rose. The ex-factory price of urea fell from 1,925.50 RMB/ton on January 1 to 1,872.50 RMB/ton on February 22, a decrease of 80 RMB/ton, a decrease of 4.10%. It rose to 2050.00 RMB/ton on March 31, and the offer price increased by 177.50 RMB/ton, an increase of 9.48%. Overall, the urea market rose in the first quarter, up 4.99% 

3. Urea price fell 6.24% in second quarter

The urea market fell in the second quarter. The ex-factory price fell from RMB 2055.00 RMB/ton on April 1 to 1,926.67 RMB/ton on June 30. The offer price fell by 128.33 RMB/ton, a drop of 6.24%.

4. Urea price fell 5.88% in third quarter

The urea market fluctuated and declined in the third quarter. The ex-factory price of urea dropped from 1926.67 RMB/ton on July 1 to 1813.33 RMB/ton on September 30, a decrease of 113.34 RMB/ton, a drop of 5.88%; although the urea price rose slightly at the beginning of September, it remained for half a month However, the subsequent rise was weak, and urea prices fell again in late September.

5. Urea prices fell 6.80% in the fourth quarter

The urea market continued to decline in the fourth quarter. The ex-factory price of urea dropped from 1,813.33 RMB/ton on October 1 to 1,690.00 RMB/ton on December 23. The offer price fell by 123.33 RMB/ton, a 6.80% decrease. Urea prices increased slightly at the end of November, but the increase was not significant.

6.The highest monthly increase is 8.61%

The ex-factory quotation for urea in March 2019 rose from 1,878.50 RMB/ton on March 1 to 2,050.00 RMB/ton on March 31, an increase of 162.50 RMB/ton, creating the largest monthly increase in 19 years, a 8.61% increase.

7. The biggest monthly drop is 4.81%

In November 2019, the market price of epichlorohydrin fell from 18,800 RMB/ton on November 1 to 12,833.33 RMB/ton on November 30, the largest monthly decline, with the quotation down 5,966.67 RMB/ton, or 31.74%.

8. The highest urea spread in 2019 is 397.17 yuan / to

On April 3, the ex-factory quotation for urea was 2,062.50 RMB/ton, the highest point for quoting urea this year. On November 21, the urea price was 1,663.33 RMB/ton, which is the lowest urea price this year. Compared with the highest price, the highest urea price difference was 397.15 RMB/ton.

9. The cumulative urea production from January to October was 43.849 million tons

With the weakening of environmental protection and limited production, and the profitability of urea production enterprises is still acceptable, the overall supply of urea in 2019 is sufficient. From January to October 2019, China's cumulative urea production was 43.849 million tons, an increase of 1.489 million tons year-on-year, an increase of 3.5%.
