According to the statistics of SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes fell slightly this week. As of the end of the week, the price of 108 * 4.5 seamless tube was 4,947.5 RMB/ton, down 0.8% from the price at the beginning of the week and down 17.58% year-on-year.

Analysis review

This week's national inventory was 691,000 tons, down 32,000 tons from last week. The operating rate of seamless tube plants nationwide was 57.8%, with an increase of 0.98% weekly.

After the Lantern Festival this week, the market resumed work one after another, the downstream inquiries increased, and some construction enterprises and traders purchased a small amount. Recently, the price of raw material tube blank continued to weaken, and the price rise of seamless tube factory was difficult to sustain.

Market outlook

Before the year, the inventory was overstocked, and the cost of traders was supported to some extent. The price of seamless tubes in the short term may be difficult to change significantly. It is expected that the price of seamless tube will be mainly stable and slightly adjusted in the short term.
