Price trend

On February 15, the average price of domestic urea was 2,722 RMB/ton, a slight decrease, down 36 RMB/ton or 1.31%from February 14, and up 1.19% year-on-year.

Analysis review

The price of upstream Yangquan anthracite (washing medium lump) was about 1,780 RMB/ton, with a slight drop in price and insufficient cost support.

From the perspective of demand: agricultural demand increased slightly and industrial demand was normal. The operating rate of compound fertilizer plants gradually increased, and the enthusiasm for urea procurement had increased. The plate and melamine enterprises were commonly in operation, the procurement was mainly in needed. From the perspective of supply, some gas-head enterprises began to resume production, with a daily urea output of about 150,000 to 160,000 tons.

Market outlook

In the future, it is expected that the domestic urea market price will fall slightly in shock, with the average market price of about 2,700 RMB/ton.
