Analysis review
This week, the bromine price continued to be weak on the whole. The price of bromine in Shandong was downward under pressure. The downstream flame retardants and intermediates industries had been reworked recently, but maintained the low load, the demand was obviously bleak, and the shipments of bromine enterprises were not smooth. The bromine production increased, the operators were pessimistic and generally not optimistic about the future.
In terms of raw materials: the domestic sulfur price was consolidated this week. The average market price at the beginning of the week was 1,146.67 RMB/ton, and the average market price at the weekend was 1,153.33 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.58% and a year-on-year decrease of 47.66%.As of the 17th, the sulfur market had been sorted out on a wait-and-see basis. The production of manufacturers was stable, the downstream sulfuric acid market was weak, and the support for sulfur was insufficient. The sulfur enterprises were actively shipping, and it is expected that the market will be dominated by wait-and-see in the short term.
Market outlook
Analysts from SunSirs believe that the price of bromine was weak recently, and the downstream flame retardant and intermediate industries of bromine recently resumed production, but the demand was slow to follow up, the upstream sulfur price was consolidated, supply and demand gamed, and the market was not supported by favorable factors. It is comprehensively estimated that the price of bromine will be weakly consolidated in the short term, depending on the downstream market demand.
