Analysis review

The ECH market fell first and then stabilized this week. Recently, the price of raw material propylene rose first and then fell. The price of raw material glycerin was stable, and the pressure on the cost side was high, but the demand side did not follow up enough. The downstream bargain-hunting small order just in needed, and the shipment of the holders was under pressure. The focus of the discussion in the ECH market was weaker.

Upstream propylene, according to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the recent domestic propylene (Shandong) market rose first and then fell. On February 22, the reference price of propylene was 7,695.75 RMB/ton, up 2.19% from that of February 1 (7,530.75 RMB/ton).

For downstream epoxy resin, the reference price of epoxy resin was 15,366.67 RMB/ton on February 22, down 7.43% from that of February 1 (16,600.00 RMB/ton).

Market outlook

According to the ECH analyst of SunSirs, the cost support was strong, but the demand was weak, and the market trading atmosphere was flat. It is expected that in the short term, the market of ECH may be stagnant and weaker, and more attention still needs to be paid to the guidance of market news.
