According to the statistics of Business News Agency, the price of seamless tubes rose slightly this week. By the end of the week, the price of 20# and 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was 4,990 RMB/ton, up 1.01% from the beginning of the week and down 16.17% year on year.

Analysis review

In terms of raw materials, the price of ferrous metal futures rose in shock this week, and the price of tube blank in Shandong rose by 70-80 RMB/ton, while that of tube blank in Jiangsu rose by 20-40 RMB/ton.

In terms of seamless tube plants, affected by the cost, some seamless tube plants had slightly increased the ex-factory price, while some tube plants had not adjusted the listed price, but the preferential activities had been gradually cancelled.

In the market, the recovery of downstream demand had accelerated recently, and the overall transaction had recovered slightly. However, most traders in the market tended to be cautious, and the quotation was mainly stable.
