The company said in a statement that the second sulphide concentrator of Aktogay mine was upgraded to the world-class level, and the performance of sulphide No. 1 and oxide plants improved, resulting in the copper output of Aktogay reaching 227000 tons in 2022, an increase of 64% from 138000 tons in 2021. KAZ's gold production in 2022 was 171000 ounces, up 2% from 167000 ounces in 2021, due to the increase in Bozshakol's production. In 2022, KAZs also produced 3768000 ounces of silver, up from 3417000 ounces in 2021, and 47000 tons of zinc, up from 46500 tons in 2021.
