SunSirs: The Price of Aniline Stabilized This Week (March 20-24)

March 28 2023 09:36:59SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to monitoring data from SunSirs, the price of aniline was relatively stable this week. On March 20th, the market price of aniline was 13,000 RMB/ton, and on March 24th, the price was 13,000 RMB/ton, maintaining a stable state compared to last week.

Analysis review

Pure benzene: On the 23rd, the price of pure benzene in the East China market rose in a narrow range, with few spot transactions, mainly for monthly transactions. The stable prices of main units boosted the market, and there was insufficient room for price decline. Some downstream and traders in Shandong were bullish in the future, and they normally purchased Shandong goods, with a fair transaction. On Thursday (March 23), the price of pure benzene was 7200 RMB/ton, down 0.11% from last week and down 12.09% from the same period last year.

Nitric acid: The domestic price of nitric acid decreased slightly this week. On March 20th, the price was 2,483 RMB/ton, and on March 23rd, the price was 2,467 RMB/ton. The price decreased by 4.73% compared to last week, and increased by 12.04% compared to the same period last year.

Downstream picked up and shipped, aniline factory shipments were average, and the market stabilized and consolidated.

Market outlook

The logic of the aniline market fluctuation still lies in the supply and demand side. With the upcoming implementation of the planned overhaul in Jinling, the supply in the north will continue to enter a tight pattern. It is expected that the aniline market will be stronger next week, and there may be a trend of stabilizing prices.
