Foreign media news on April 6: Ivanhoe Mines said that the company's Kamoa-Kakula copper mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kamoa-Kakula) produced 93,603 tons of copper concentrate in the first quarter of 2023, more than 92,761 tonnes in the fourth quarter of 2022. Among them, the output of copper concentrate in March was 34,915 tons, setting a record high. Among them, the output in the week ended March 25 was 9,016 tons, setting the highest weekly output record, and the output on March 25 was 1,563 tons, setting a daily output record. Phases 1 and 2 of the beneficiation plant are now capable of processing 9.2 million tonnes of copper ore per year following the completion of the debottlenecking program, the company said.
