Analysis review
In the middle of April, the domestic trichloromethane price recovered slightly after stopping falling to stabilize, falling 3.74% overall in the month, and the hydrofluoric acid price rebounded slightly, rising 5.69% from a low level in the month. In a word, the upstream raw material price of domestic R22 was still at a low level, and the continuous low cost shocks had suppressed the domestic R22 price to a certain extent. This week, the domestic R22 market price was stable and slightly weaker.
Entering mid April, the overall domestic price of trichloroethylene remained stable and advanced this week, while the price of hydrofluoric acid remained stable after a slight rebound within the month. The raw material cost continued to fluctuate at a low level, and the overall upward momentum of domestic R134a prices was insufficient. This week, the overall domestic R134a prices remained stable and advanced.
Overall, although the domestic price of hydrofluoric acid had rebounded to some extent, it was still at a relatively low level compared to previous years. The sustained low volatility of raw material costs will form a certain pressure on the domestic price of R134a.
Market outlook
Refrigerant analysts from SunSirs believe that raw material costs continue to fluctuated and decreased, and under cost suppression, it is expected that the overall domestic R22/R134a prices will continue to maintain a stable and weaker operating trend in the short term. The weather is gradually getting hotter, and the demand for refrigerants is increasing. The overall downward trend in the future is limited.
