On May 17th, foreign media reported that the latest data report released by the World Bureau of Metals Statistics (WBMS) showed that in March 2023, global refined copper production was 2.0979 million tons, refined copper consumption was 2.1724 million tons, and there was a supply shortage of 74400 tons. The global copper production in March 2023 was 1.7625 million tons.
