According to the data of SunSirs, the average price of paraformaldehyde (96) in Shandong Province on January 14 was 4,566 RMB/ton, up 1.86% from last week.

Product: Shandong aldehyde Industry Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of more than 30 thousand tons of paraformaldehyde, and the ex factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax is 4,600 RMB/ton, which is higher than the previous price. Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 9,000 tons of POM, and the ex factory quotation of POM (96) is 4,300 RMB/ton, which is higher than the previous one. Market demand has improved.

Industry chain: The upstream methanol situation, according to the price monitoring of the business community, last week, the domestic methanol market price rose strongly. At the beginning of the week, the average domestic methanol market price was 2,097 RMB/ton, and at the weekend it was reported at 2,207 RMB/ton, up 5.24% during the week.

Market outlook

 The raw material methanol market is good, supporting the paraformaldehyde market. The paraformaldehyde analyst of SunSirs thinks that the festival demand will be boosted, and paraformaldehyde may be increased.
