Industry chain aspect, the bisphenol A market in East China is at a high stalemate. Trader’s price intention is firm, showing low intentions to reduce price. However, near the Spring Festival, the demand side has slowed down, and downstream factories purchase less. Reference price is around 10,900 – 11,000 RMB / ton.
Industry aspect, on January 14th, the chemical index was 735 points, which was the same as yesterday. It was 27.66% lower than the highest point of the cycle at 1016 points (2012-March-13) and 22.50 points higher than the lowest point of 600 points on January 31, 2016 %.
