May 29 2023 13:56:43SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of 50% potassium sulfate at the beginning of this month was 3,716 RMB/ton, while the price of 50% potassium sulfate at the end of this month was 3,500 RMB/ton, a decrease of 5.83% in price.

Analysis review

The price of upstream potassium chloride continued to decline, and the operating rate of potassium sulfate manufacturers continued to decline. SDIC LuoBupo Potash officially entered the summer maintenance state this week, and is expected to resume production in early September. The market sales price of 52% powdered potassium sulfate was mostly between 3,200-3,600 RMB/ton. On the 26th, the factory price of 50% powdered Mannheim potassium sulfate was mostly between 3,000 to 3,300 RMB/ton, while the factory price of 52% powdered potassium sulfate was between 3,200 to 3,400 RMB/ton.

The domestic supply of potassium fertilizer was sufficient, and the operating rate of domestic manufacturers had rebounded. The supply of goods was mostly delivered to other regions, and market transactions were light. Some new ships that imported potassium chloride had arrived at the port, and the supply was mostly concentrated in the hands of large traders, with a large supply.

Market outlook

The domestic potash fertilizer market was still in the downward channel with weak transactions. It is expected that the market price will be dominated by weak consolidation trend.
