According to the analysis system of the commodity market of SunSirs, as of May 26th, the average price of domestic universal transparent grade premium PMMA was 14,625.00 RMB/ton, This week, PMMA prices remained stable and maintained the previous trend, with no significant price fluctuations. Downstream purchases were mainly in needed.

Analysis review

This week, the general transparent grade premium product PMMA in China was operating smoothly. Compared to the same period last week, the price remained stable. The purchasing atmosphere was cold, and downstream demand was insufficient. As of 26th, the quotation range of mainstream manufacturers was still around 14,800 RMB/ton. The operating rate was stable, and the overall market supply and demand was balanced. The factory gave up profits for sales, and downstream purchases were just in needed. The enterprise quotation: Shanghai Hongqi Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. 14,700 RMB/ton.

Rubber and Plastic Index: On May 25th, the rubber and plastic index was 644 points, a decrease of 2 points from the previous day, a decrease of 39.25% from the highest point of 1,060 points in the cycle (2012-03-14), and an increase of 21.97% from the lowest point of 528 points on April 6, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).
