SunSir: Aniline Prices Slightly Increased This Week (May 29-June 2)

Price trend

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of aniline had slightly increased this week. The aniline market price was 10,600 RMB/ton on May 29 and 10,800 RMB/ton on June 2, up 1.88% from last week.

Analysis review

Pure benzene: on June1, the transaction of pure benzene improved, and the price was firm. The downstream replenishment of spot goods had been completed recently, mainly consuming inventory, and the spot price decreased. The spot transaction of pure benzene in East China was between 6,520 and 6,560 RMB/ton, while in Shandong, it was between 6,400 and 6,560 RMB/ton. Crude oil stopped falling and rebounded, which is expected to support market sentiment. It is expected that East China pure benzene will fluctuate and consolidate in the morning. On Friday (June 2nd), the price of pure benzene was at 6,550 RMB/ton, a 3.1% decrease from last week and a 28.54% decrease from the same period last year.

Nitric acid: Domestic nitric acid prices had slightly decreased this week. On May 29th, the price was 2,066 RMB/ton, and on June 2, it was 2,030 RMB/ton. The price decreased by 0.22% compared to last week and 24.33% compared to the same period last year.

Market outlook

The market supply and demand began to enter a tight balance pattern, with aniline in East China continuing to rise slightly and aniline in North China staying on the sidelines at high levels.
