According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of June 9th, the average price of LNG in China was 3,588 RMB/ton, which is lower than the average price of 3,520 RMB/ton on June 5th. This week, the price of LNG in China increased by 1.93%.
Domestic LNG prices have risen this week. This week, downstream replenishment demand began to increase, and domestic LNG prices stopped falling and rose. The price reduction of imported gas has a certain impact on domestic gas. This week, some liquid plants underwent maintenance, resulting in a decrease in market supply. At present, the domestic LNG market is operating at a high price. On the afternoon of June 9th, the bidding price for raw gas from PetroChina Northwest Liquid Plant in mid June (June 11-20) was 2.19 to 2.27 RMB/square meter, with an average price increase of 0.105 RMB/square meter compared to the previous period. The transaction volume was 70 million square meters, and there was no auction.
SunSirs LNG analysts believe that in recent days, the domestic LNG market has shown a dominant trend, with a strong market price mentality. The bidding price for raw gas has increased, resulting in a positive cost side effect. It is expected that China domestic LNG prices will continue to rise in the short term.
