June 12 2023 10:49:42SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of aniline had slightly increased this week. On June 5th, the market price of aniline was at 10,800 RMB/ton, and on June 9th, it was at 10,800 RMB/ton, which had stabilized compared to last week.

Analysis review

Pure benzene: The bearish news of increased supply and demand difficult to follow-up for pure benzene in June 9's market trading continued to push down the price of pure benzene. In addition, the broad decline in styrene exacerbated the decline in pure benzene, with East China falling broadly to 6,350-6,480 RMB/ton within the day. Shandong stabilized to 6,330-6,400 RMB/ton. Crude oil stopped falling and rebounded, with a slight rebound in overnight prices around 6,400 RMB/ton. It is expected that East China pure benzene will fluctuate and consolidate on the morning of June 9. On Friday (June 9th), the price of pure benzene was at 6,500 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.76% compared to last week and a decrease of 33.78% compared to the same period last year.

Nitric acid: Domestic nitric acid prices had stabilized this week. On June 5th, the price was 2,033 RMB/ton, and on June 9th, it was 2,033 RMB/ton. The price increased by 0.14% compared to last week and decreased by 27.39% compared to the same period last year.

Market outlook

As of June 9th, due to the parking and maintenance of Fuqiang, the supply of aniline in some areas was tight. However, with the arrival of the off-season in the downstream summer, the intention to stock up was weak, the demand was low, and the supply and demand side was weak. On June 9, the price of aniline would be stable and wait-and-see.
