SunSirs: Glass Production and Sales in Shahe and Hubei Regions are Stable and Improving, but Market Wait-and-see Sentiment still Exists
June 16 2023 09:17:40SunSirs(Selena)

The overall spot price of glass has remained stable and fluctuated slightly, with 600 tons of glass from Tianjin Taibo leading the way yesterday. Recently, production and sales in Shahe and Hubei regions have been stable and improving, but currently, the overall replenishment in the middle and lower reaches is mainly based on demand, mainly digesting self inventory in the early stage. Last week, there were a total of 700 tons of net ignition production lines. In terms of supply and demand, according to the announced plans, there are still a large number of production lines to be put into operation in June, and we will continue to pay attention to the ignition plan of the glass factory; In addition, with the arrival of the rainy season, the progress of real estate construction has been affected, which has a certain negative impact on the demand for glass. In the traditional peak season of the third quarter, the support for glass demand at the end of real estate completion can be played. With demand support, 09 can be tested at a low price. However, from the fourth quarter to the beginning of next year, the long-term off-season still maintains a bearish logic, and 01 and subsequent contracts can be sold short at high points. The market may be affected by previous macroeconomic recovery and rumors of favorable real estate conditions, or there may be signs of early activation of peak season demand expectations. In addition, short-term attention messages are faced with market disturbances. Pay attention to spot production and sales, inventory situation, and actual trends of terminal real estate.
