As the weekend approached, the domestic liquid ammonia market continued to decline. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the daily decline of liquid ammonia in the main production area of Shandong was 2.86% on Thursday, with a cumulative decline of over 5% this week.

Analysis review

Liquid ammonia maintained a weaker trend this week, and major manufacturers continued to lower their prices on June 15. Manufacturers in Shandong had cumulatively lowered their prices by 200 RMB/ton this week. Firstly, the early maintenance companies had resumed work one after another, causing a temporary increase in supply pressure. In addition, the demand side coincided with the end of fertilizer procurement, with poor prospects. The supply and demand sides were bearish, leading to a continuous decline in the price of liquid ammonia. As of 15th, the mainstream quotation in Shandong region was between 2,800-2,950 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

The liquid ammonia data analyst from SunSirs believes that it was difficult to alleviate the supply pressure of liquid ammonia recently, and there was insufficient demand in agriculture. The price of liquid ammonia will continue to be weak.
