Analysis review

The domestic sulfur market was weakly sorted out, with prices generally decreasing by 20-30 RMB/ton. The refinery units in Shandong region were operating normally, the market supply was stable and inventory of manufacturers was sufficient. They maintained active shipments, while downstream procurement enthusiasm was weak. They were cautious and wait-and-see when entering the market, purchasing a small amount of goods and mainly on demand. Sulfur manufacturers had poor shipments and accumulated inventory. In order to stimulate the shipment, they lowered the price of sulfur.

Market outlook

As of June 19th, the supply of sulfur refining plants was stable, downstream demand was low and lacked positive support on the market. Under the supply and demand game, it is expected that the sulfur market will consolidate at a low level, and specific attention will be paid to downstream follow-up.
