Price trend

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average market price of ammonium sulfate in China was 696 RMB/ton on June 15th, and 696 RMB/ton on June 21st. The market price of ammonium sulfate remained stable this week.

Analysis review

The domestic ammonium sulfate market remained stable this week. Coking grade ammonium sulfate was consolidated at a low level, prices were stable with minor fluctuations. CPL grade ammonium sulfate was stable in market and price. The export market was still sluggish, with fewer orders. The downstream composite fertilizer market was weakening, with limited demand for ammonium sulfate. As of June 21st, the mainstream factory quotation for coking grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong was around 630 RMB/ton. CPL grade ammonium sulfate, the mainstream factory quotation in Shandong was about 610-690 RMB/ton.

The downstream compound fertilizer market was weakly consolidated this week. The market for composite fertilizer raw materials was weakening, and cost support was weak. Downstream procurement was mainly based on demand, and the market had a strong wait-and-see sentiment. It is expected that the short-term composite fertilizer market will mainly be sorted out in a narrow range.

Market outlook

Analysts from SunSirs believe that the domestic ammonium sulfate market was less volatile recently, and domestic and international demand was weak. Downstream replenished on demand, and the market trading was limited. It is expected that the ammonium sulfate market will be sorted out in a narrow range in the short term.
