Price trend
The domestic phenol market had a strong focus and there was not much supply pressure. According to the market analysis system of SunSirs, the negotiated price of phenol in East China was 6,600 RMB/ton.
Sinopec North China phenol prices had been increased by 100 RMB/ton, implementing a price increase of 6,600 RMB/ton; As of July 4th, Sinopec East China phenol quoted at 6,550 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
There was not much pressure on the supply of goods on the market, and traders were still in a good mood to push up prices. The purchasing enthusiasm of terminal enterprises was not high, and they were cautious when entering the market. Intermediary traders participated according to orders.
Market outlook
It is expected that the phenol market will be consolidated in a narrow range, and the negotiation in East China will be around 6,600 RMB/ton.
