SunSirs: Aniline Prices Slightly Decreased This Week (July 3-7)

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of aniline slightly decreased this week. On July 3rd, the market price of aniline was 9,600 RMB/ton, and on July 7th, it was 9,300 RMB/ton, a decrease of 8.82% compared to last week.

Analysis review

Pure Benzene: Pure Benzene fluctuated and consolidated in East China on the previous day, following the low opening of styrene in the morning. In the afternoon, the pessimism of the industry decreased, and buyers bought pure benzene back months paper goods, and the negotiated prices rebounded. Pure benzene prices in Shandong continued to rise slightly due to the start-up of Luxi Chemical Phase II CPL plant, which boosted market confidence. On the night of July 6, the price was negotiated at around 6,330 RMB/ton. On Friday (July 7th), the price of pure benzene was 6,250 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.8% compared to last week and a decrease of 32.67% compared to the same period last year.

Nitric acid: Domestic nitric acid prices had slightly decreased this week. On July 3rd, the price was 1,950 RMB/ton, and on July 7th, it was 1,930 RMB/ton. The price decreased by 1.02% compared to last week and down 33.81% compared to the same period last year.

Market outlook

As of July 7th, most of the aniline plants were operating normally with sufficient supply. In the off-season downstream factories did not start high, and demand was weaker. However, the actual market negotiations were relatively good, and on July 7th, the price of aniline will remain stable and wait-and-see.
