SunSirs: Aniline Prices Slightly Increased This Week (July 10-14)

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of aniline slightly increased this week. On July 10th, the market price of aniline was 9,300 RMB/ton, and on July 14th, it was 9,500 RMB/ton, an increase of 2.15% compared to last week.

Analysis review

Pure benzene: On July 13, The spot price of Benzene in East China was 6,540-6,650 RMB/ton, The spot price of Benzene in Shandong was 6,750-6,670 RMB/ton. The spot price of pure benzene in East China had significantly increased, and the demand for pure benzene in the Shandong market was strong, driving the enthusiasm of the downstream of East China to enter the market. The main listing price was raised to 6,600 RMB/ton, with a broad increase in the external market. On July 13’s night, the trading negotiated prices reached around 6,700 RMB/ton, and it is expected that East China pure benzene will open for consolidation in the morning. On Friday (July 14th), the price of pure benzene was 6,396 RMB/ton, an increase of 2.33% compared to last week and a decrease of 29.77% compared to the same period last year.

Nitric acid: Domestic nitric acid prices stabilized this week. On July 10th, the price was 1,916 RMB/ton, and on July 14th, it was 1,916 RMB/ton. The price decreased by 0.72% compared to last week and 32.36% compared to the same period last year.

Market outlook

As of the 14th, there was abundant supply of aniline, and during the off-season of downstream, downstream factories were not operating high, resulting in weak demand. However, the listed price of pure benzene was raised, resulting in increased costs. On July 14, the quotation for aniline would be raised.
