SunSirs: China Domestic Rapeseed Prices slightly Increased
July 18 2023 10:18:44SunSirs(Selena)

According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average market price of domestic rapeseed on July 10th was 6,404 RMB/kg, and on July 14th, the average market price of domestic rapeseed was 6,452 RMB/kg, with a price increase of 0.75% during the period. Domestic rapeseed prices have slightly increased this week, mainly driven by the rise in downstream rapeseed oil and meal. The weather caused concern about rapeseed production reduction in Canada, Australia and the European Union. Weather factors continue to disturb, and spot prices of rapeseed meal and oil continue to rise. Rapeseed consumption is in the off-season, with limited upward space. It is expected that domestic rapeseed prices will remain stable after a slight increase.

Vancouver, July 13th news: The Canadian rapeseed futures market on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) closed higher on Thursday, with the benchmark period closing up approximately 1.32%, reaching its highest level in six months due to uncertainty in the outlook for rapeseed production and a strengthening external market. As of the close, rapeseed futures have risen from 0.50 CAD/ton to 16.90 CAD/ton, with November futures closing up approximately 16.90 CAD/ton, at 814.40 CAD/ton; The January period closed approximately 13.90 CAD/ton higher at 812.90 CAD/ton; The March period closed approximately 8.20 CAD/ton higher at 803.90 CAD/ton.
